The State of NH requires any service, installation, or venting
to be done by a licensed service technician. There are a few different licenses out there but only two allow a technician to actually work on and repair your gas appliances. The first is a Fuel Gas Service Technicians License and the second is a Domestic Appliance Technicians License. Neither a Gas Fitters License nor a Installation License allows a person to service or work on a gas appliance.This is important for you as the customer to know. Without proper licensing, if something happens, a company's insurance will not pay. It will leave them personally liable and you without any financial assistance.
